Sorry for the late post. Was trying to (obsessing) finish up a dress. Do you know that feeling? 😛
Anyway, today’s title is not strictly correct, because today’s free “patterns” site doesn’t provide any patterns, but shows us how she made the following items out of simple shapes and rectangles. The website is called Kabanhime – an original handmade bag pattern shop. She has a shop selling patterns but she has also listed some for free.
There are not many patterns, so I’ll just list the links here.
Clockwise from Top left : Granny bag | Corsage | Pouch | Case for small objects (Her pattern is for an abacus)
Every pattern comes with step by step photo instructions, which makes it easy to follow.
As usual, it is ok to sell products made on your blog/auction but not to modify or resell the original pattern.
For pattern credits, link back to pattern by * KABANHIME * For more about the terms of use, click here.
Happy Sewing!

Cute! Just wondering, do you have any tips for fabric shops in Singapore that have Japanese print cotton fabrics? I have a trip coming up and found lots of online stores through Google but no bricks-and-mortar actual shops to visit. Of course I will be sure to visit Kinokuniya for books and cute stationery! Thanks for any suggestions!
Hi Anna, I am writing up a blog post now listing all the places I know that sells Japanese fabrics (and other fabrics if you are interested), look out for it tomorrow!
